The Capacity Building Initiative is a program of the Chesapeake Bay Trust and the Chesapeake Bay Funders Network. The initiative aims to increase the organizational effectiveness of watershed or other similar organizations that work to advance the restoration and protection of the Chesapeake Bay and Coastal Bays. Through this opportunity, grants will be provided to eligible organizations within the watershed to support their ability to accomplish their missions.
Projects funded through this opportunity, intended to be short-term (one year or less), will enable the organizations to catalyze organizational development activities. For a full list of eligible project types and more information please see the full Request for Proposals here.
