Day 1 is an interactive classroom session in Derwood, MD on conservation landscaping and stormwater topics. Day 2 is a field-based stormwater BMP maintenance practicum in Rockville. Developed by regional experts and led by instructors David Hirschman and Sara Tangren, this training focuses on collaborative practice and adaptive management strategies. CBLP candidates who complete the training may take the Level 1 exam in Derwood on November 15, or because CBLP is a Bay-wide credential, candidates may sit for the exam in any location.
