Learn the value of large-tract habitat restoration projects to birds, wildlife and the Chesapeake Bay. Explore restoration methods like warm season grass meadows, forest buffers and especially restored wetlands. See on the ground examples at Pickering Creek Audubon Center. The workshop will include presentation materials that can be used to share information with other interested persons or community groups. Resource materials will also include contact information for technical and financial assistance required to initiate a restoration project. Lunch provided.
