Want to enjoy the beauty of some of the state’s largest trees while they are in their fall color. Then join the Prince George’s County Forestry Board’s Champion Tree Tour on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The guided bus tour is $25 per person and it includes a color booklet of Prince George’s County trees and lunch.
For certified arborists, you can also get 5.5 CEUs from ISA for participating in the tour.
This guided bus tour will include champion trees of the following species-Sassafras, the state champion Persimmon, the national champion American Holly, overcup oak, English Linden and osage orange.
