Just a reminder that the deadline for Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) to the 2017-2018 Chesapeake Land and Water Initiative grant program is tomorrow, November 14 at 5 pm EST.
We look forward to receiving ideas from focused regions within the watershed for projects to help accelerate land conservation and stewardship that directly benefit water quality. The guidelines for submitting an LOI are attached here, along with an FAQ on working within our online system. Additional information about the Initiative and previously funded projects are available here.
If you’re planning to apply, and you still have questions about your specific project concept or the process overall, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I should be available by phone most of the day tomorrow, with just a couple of exceptions.
