Third Annual Pennsylvania Sportsmen’s Forum Request for Proposals
Date & Location: 9:00am to 4:00pm, September 20th, 2019 at the Middle Creek Wildlife
Management Area

Forum Mission: Conservationists and sportsmen coming together to discuss shared
goals and develop joint efforts in areas such as fish and wildlife habitat restoration, land
conservation, forest management, stream restoration and more.
Seeking presentations on topics including but not limited to:

  • Habitat Restoration Efforts for species of interest to hunting and fishing
    communities such as:

    •  Prescribed Burning
    • Riparian Forest Buffer Installation
    • Forest Management
    • Large Woody Debris
  • Population concerns and recovery efforts for species such as:
    o Mallard
    o American Eel
    o White-Tailed Deer & Chronic Wasting Disease
     Unique Conservation Partnerships
     GIS Analysis and Prioritization Efforts
     Landowner Engagement
     Sportsmen Profit/Funding Opportunities
    • Length of Presentation: 30 or 45 minutes
      Applications will be selected based upon the following criteria:
       Innovativeness
       Relevancy to Forum Mission
       Practical application and transferability
