Seminar Overview
The CWEA Stormwater Seminar, is presented to allow peer-to-peer information exchange opportunities for representatives of regulated stormwater programs. Since the inception of the MS4 program, Phase I and Phase II municipalities within the Chesapeake Bay watershed have been tirelessly working towards meeting their permit requirements and improving the success of their stormwater program. The universe of MS4 permittees continues to grow with expanding populations in urbanized areas. The purpose of this seminar will be to share proven strategies that facilitate successful stormwater program.
The seminar will be held at MITAGS and cover an entire day (8 am – 4 pm). There may be one or two tracks depending on the abstracts received. Topic examples include:
- Multi-benefit design
- Water quality trading
- Costs of BMPs
- Financing of stormwater programs
- Localized flooding/climate resiliency
- Construction permitting and compliance
- Emerging pollutants
Abstract Submittal and Information
Authors shall submit an abstract (500 words maximum) concisely describing their project or program and how seminar participants can benefit from it.
All abstracts must be received by September 25, 2019.
Abstract submittals shall include:
- Title
- Abstract (< 500 words)
- Brief speaker bio (<100 words)
