The Big Melt, an engaging novel about the potential impacts of climate change in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, was a Finalist this year in both The Green Earth Book Award and One Maryland/One Book Award.
The author paints a picture of what things might be like in the not too distant future and inspires readers to take action now before it is too late. The main characters are engaging role models for us all. Great book for stimulating discussion and action for young and old.
