This year, the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) is switching things up! Since we can’t hold our fall fundraiser in person, we are hosting our first annual Explore the Gunpowder Watershed Challenge, a crowdfunding campaign to encourage people to spend time outdoors, on trails or in neighborhoods, while helping to raise $10,000 for the GVC. Participants that register will receive a t-shirt with our new Gunpowder Watershed design and are eligible for raffle prize giveaways. GVC is a Baltimore County-based land trust and watershed restoration non-profit organization. Since 1989, the GVC has protected 1800+ acres in conservation easements, planted 31,000+ trees and removed 240+ tons of trash. Your participation in the Explore the Gunpowder Watershed Challenge will help us continue to preserve land and support clean water in the Gunpowder watershed.
