The Chesapeake Bay Trust and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is excited to announce the Equity and Environmental Education in the Time of COVID-19 funding opportunity

The Chesapeake Bay Trust, with support from the U.S Environmental Protection Agency, seeks non-profit organizations to support key Chesapeake Bay Program Goals and Outcomes through the funding opportunity Equity and Environmental Education in the Time of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) to Support Environmental Education Providers

Due to the significant operational and economic impacts of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the Chesapeake Bay Program’s Education Workgroup has identified an urgent need to provide financial assistance to environmental education providers. This financial assistance will provide organizations with critical support to retain staffing as their operations pivot from place-based environmental education to virtual platforms and physically distanced schoolyard programs.
