Catching the Next Storm: Leveraging Decades of Experience to Meet Future MS4 Requirements
Seminar Overview
The CWEA Stormwater Virtual Seminar is designed to facilitate information exchange amongst members of the regulated stormwater community. The universe of MS4 permittees continues to grow with expanding populations in urbanized areas and as new institutions are given permits. Since the inception of the MS4 program, Phase I and Phase II municipalities within the Chesapeake Bay watershed have tirelessly worked towards meeting their permit requirements and improving the success of their stormwater program. The purpose of this seminar will be to share proven and/or innovative strategies to facilitate stormwater program success.The seminar will be held virtually. The Committee is soliciting abstracts for presentations. Topics include but are not limited to:

- Illicit discharge detection and elimination
- Integrated water planning
- Emerging pollutants
- BMP performance monitoring
- Innovative projects and technologies
Abstract Submittal and Information
Authors shall submit an abstract (500 words maximum) concisely describing their project or program and how seminar participants can benefit from it. Notice of acceptance/rejection is scheduled for October 12. Abstract submittals shall include:
- Title
- Abstract (< 500 words)
- Brief speaker bio (<100 words)
