Become an Eco-Buddy volunteer with the Environmental Literacy and Outdoor Education Office at Arlington Echo Outdoor Education Center! We are currently recruiting volunteers for the Eco-Buddy program.
Eco-Buddies maintain first grade monarch butterfly gardens and care for new trees planted by kindergarten students at elementary schools in Anne Arundel County. Responsibilities include weeding, planting, mulching, and watering as needed. Time commitment is flexible throughout the year, training is required, and materials are supplied as needed. Volunteers must pass a commercial background check. Currently, all volunteers must also follow current COVID-19 protocols and social distancing guidelines.
