COME JOIN THE BAY INVADERS TEAM!
The Office Of Environmental Literacy at Arlington Echo is looking for some dedicated volunteers to work with 9th Grade students, supporting them with learning and removing invasive plant species from community and regional parks. Volunteers commit to providing 20 hours to the project between the months of January and April. Volunteer duties can include classroom presentations, reviewing student-created invasive species management plan, and guiding student removal efforts in the field.
Volunteers do not need any previous teaching experience. You must be able to pass an AACPS background check, provide your own transportation and be processed by Staff prior to your participation.
