The Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Outreach and Restoration Grant Program will close on August 3rd! This grant program encourages outreach, community engagement activities, and on-the-ground restoration projects that increase knowledge, change behavior, accelerate stewardship of natural resources, and advance community and environmental health.
This program can fund projects such as installation of stormwater best management practices, green infrastructure projects, addressing environmental health disparities (such as access to healthy green space), rain barrel installation and use campaigns, native species only plant nursery, green workforce development, environmental art installations, and much more!
Applicants can apply for up to $125,000 for their project (dependent upon the project track). This program funds projects anywhere in the state of Maryland.
Applications are due Thursday, August 3rd at 4pm EDT.
