Applications for Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary Undergraduate/Graduate Summer Research Internship Program are due Monday, February 27, 2017. This compensated internship is open to qualified undergraduate and graduate students who will conduct a summer research project within Sanctuary grounds under the mentorship of a staff member or an associated researcher.
Research themes include:
- Monitoring Jug Bay Small Mammal Population
- Sediment Retention by Hydrilla, a Common Submerged Aquatic Plant Found in the Patuxent River
- Studying the Faunal Assemblage of a Native American Midden
- Patuxent River Coastline and Wetland Community Historical Changes
