This half day workshop addresses the importance of planting tree and shrub seedlings adjacent to water bodies. Presenters will touch on a number of topics including the importance of reforestation at the watershed scale, sediment/pollution regulation and their impacts locally, civic engagement for reforestation opportunities the general public can contribute, and technical advice on proper planting and maintenance of tree seedlings.
