Are you looking for a great way to get involved in your community? Pickering Creek Audubon Center invites you to attend a Volunteer Open House at the Center on two dates in March. Drop in on Thursday, March 8 at either 6:00PM or 6:45 PM or spend an hour with Center staff on Friday, March 9 at 10:00AM.
Whether your interests include education and outreach at community events, participating in habitat restoration, bird monitoring, or a variety of other indoor and outdoor tasks, Pickering Creek wants you! An overview of the Center’s volunteering program will be presented at 6:00 PM and 6:45PM on Thursday and again at 10:00AM on Friday. Following the short presentations, you will have an opportunity to mingle and learn about specific opportunities that match your skills and interests from staff and experienced volunteers.
