INTEGRATE action into the classroom
This professional development opportunity is for formal and informal educators who want to integrate civic and environmental action into their teaching.
Participants will learn Save Our Streams stream monitoring protocols and supporting standards-based curriculum that will have students engaging in fun, hands-on citizen-science.
Participants will also learn Earth Force’s Community Action and Problem Solving Process, a six-step model that combines the best of civic engagement, environmental education, and STEM.
We’ll work together on designing and implementing a community project driven by your students!
