Come out and join the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy for their 1st Annual LANDJAM!
All are invited to join us for this first annual family-friendly gathering! Held on the gorgeous and permanently preserved waterfront Leigh Family Farm in Kent County, attendees will be treated to live music, environmentally-related educational activities, and a stunning view! Both individual ($10) and family ($25) tickets can be purchased here in advance.
Local foods and beer/wine compliments of Dogfish Head, Crow Vineyard, and Lockbriar & Daughter Ice Cream will be available for sale. Family-friendly activities include water quality testing and wildlife education on the farm’s pond, and wagon rides and walking/hiking trails that lead to a magnificent view of the Chesapeake Bay! ESLC’s own Sassafras Environmental Education Center (SEEC), as well as Gunston School will provide hands-on activities. There will also be multiple stations to learn about conservation, restoration, and ecology.Bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs to stretch out in front of the bands and enjoy a beautiful spring day on the Eastern Shore.
