Come and help improve the environmental quality of Anne Arundel County by removing invasive species of plants!
We will have a workshop event on Tuesday, June 26th at the Corcoran Environmental Study Area from 10am to 12pm to remove invasive species of plants. If you would like to attend this workshop event, please dress for the weather. Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, a hat, sturdy shoes, and work gloves. If you do not have any work gloves we can provide them for you. We will provide you with loppers, pruners, hand saws, goggles, and a first aid kit in case of an emergency. You may bring your own tools if you have them. Make sure you bring a water bottle and bug spray. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Volunteer Coordinator at (443) 534-8551 or email at annearundelwr@gmail.com. After this event, we will celebrate your achievement! Volunteers at or under the age of 16 can participate but will need to be supervised.
