South River Federation Paddle on Church Creek, July 4th, 8-10am

Join Liz Buxton, Executive Director of South River Federation, for a morning paddle of Church Creek on July 4th!

Explore the natural areas along this scenic stretch of water and learn about the Federation’s restoration projects that are helping to improve the water quality on this “most impaired” creek on the South River.

Bring your own canoe, SUP or kayak and meet at the Homeport Farm Park launch area at 8am. https://www.aacounty.org/locations-and-d…/homeport-farm-park

The combination lock number for Homeport Farm Park is 6536. Note: this code changes from time to time and is available on the AA County Parks & Rec website.

A two-day advance reservation is required to rent a SUP at a discounted rate. Delivery is available.

This event is free and suitable for recreational paddlers with prior experience.
