Looking for some new friends to paddle with? Or just need an excuse to do more kayaking on the Eastern Shore to get your daily dose of Vitamin N(ature)? Please join us for the first of our monthly kayak outings. We will be meeting at the Cummings Creek boat launch in Wittman, MD 21676 just before 5pm on July 28th. It is located at the end of Howeth Rd, which is off Rte. 33 10 minutes past St Michaels. We have kayaks available to rent, and ACA certified kayaking instructors if you need help with your skills.
You’ll be able to paddle over an oyster farm and the Harris Creek oyster sanctuary, which has greatly improved the overall ecosystem in the past few years. A great diversity of bird species is also present. This will be a casual eco-tour ending around 7pm.
