YOU ARE INVITED to our annual Monarchs & More Curriculum Workshop on
Saturday September 8, 2018 at Friends Community School in College Park, MD.
LEARN NEW IDEAS AND INSIGHTS for teaching about the habitat, life cycle, and amazing migration of the monarch butterfly.  Veteran science teacher, Louise Hill, will share hands-on lessons from the inquiry-based Monarchs and More curriculum.
TEACHING MATERIALS YOU WILL RECEIVE
  • LESSON PLANS & HANDOUTS(aligned with Next Generation Science Standards)
  • A KIT FOR BUILDING A BUTTERFLY CAGE at the workshop
  • 2 LIVE MONARCH CATERPILLARS to raise in your classroom
  • TAGS & DATASHEET for sharing in Monarch Watch’s citizen science project
OTHER GREAT HAPPENINGS AT THE WORKSHOP
  • NETWORK with other teachers in the Monarch Sister Schools Program.
