Landscape for both beauty and sustainability. New conservation organization Sustainability Matters has collaborated with the Virginia State Arboretum (Blandy) on a four-part “Greener than Grass” series, aimed at encouraging participants to replace turf grass with more environmentally friendly landscaping. The fourth workshop in the series explores no-mow, steppable ”Alternative Groundcovers”. Cost is $ 5 for 2019 Sustainability Matters and FOSA members; $10 others.
