As winter gets annoying but the garden is still dormant, plan for spring and enjoy the indoor greenery. Join Sustainability Matters at Winchester Brew Works for a fabulous afternoon of Houseplant and Seed Swapping….and:
– Brews (well, yeah…!)
– Live Music from Sustainability Matters’ band, the Plant-Based Jam
– Paint your own Plant Pots with the Polka Dot Pot Studio, making a special appearance at Brew Works
– Sustainability Matters Volunteer Orientation – Winchester right after the swap, if you’d like to find out what we do and how you can join our team!
HOW THE SWAP WORKS: It’s free to attend! As you come in, your houseplants and seeds will be sorted by our volunteers. You’re welcome to take home an equivalent value to what you brought. If you’d like to take more than you brought, you may donate the difference.
WHAT TO BRING:
– Houseplants and cuttings (insect-free)
– Seeds: vegetables, flowers, perennials, annuals
Please label plants and seeds clearly and package large quantities of seeds in smaller envelopes or containers. Use your creativity: repurpose items like plastic cups and utensils, popsicle sticks, and so on.
