Are you READY for Summer 2020???
July 1 – August 24, 2020*
The Summer 2020 READY program is now accepting applications for two positions: Crew Leaders and Crew Members. If you or someone you know is interested in pursuing a career in the environment, or learning more about their local natural resources, or just needs a job, the READY program might be a great fit!
READY participants are trained in the design and installation of green stormwater practices such as rain gardens, conservation landscapes and more! They receive job skills training as well as learn about local and regional environmental issues.
READY (Restoring the Environment and Developing Youth) is a summer employment program for young adults ages 16-25 from Howard County. READY participants construct and maintain stormwater best management practices to help improve watershed health.

READY participants must:
- be Howard County residents
- be between the ages of 16-25 years old as of July 1, 2020
- work outside performing moderate physical labor
- have a good attitude and care about the environment
Participants also receive Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional-Associate Training and Certificate!
