The Commons, on behalf of the Water Data Collaborative (WDC), is requesting proposals for a Growth and Fundraising Consultant for an expected three (3) month engagement. The consultant would provide key support to the Collaborative’s five-member Steering Committee in developing a collaborative fundraising model that defines parameters and strategies for how we fundraise as a collaborative to ensure long term financial sustainability, and to pilot the collaborative fundraising model through the development and submission of fundraising proposals. We are seeking an individual or firm with a proven track record and demonstrated examples of writing successful grant proposals, excellence in working with multiple organizations to develop collaborative fundraising models, and partnering to refine brands that support mission while appealing to funders. The Commons serves as the grant administrator of Water Data Collaborative and will be the lead in managing the contract and scope of work related to this RFP.
