This year, during Riparian Buffer Month, join the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council (CCLC) for a buffer field day. Visit several riparian buffer projects to see how buffers may be used in both agricultural and urban settings. Learn from project teams about the benefits of planting trees and shrubs along streams and how to establish and manage a successful buffer. Participants will drive their own vehicles to visit three sites in Prince Georges County and Howard County, Maryland. The tour begins in Beltsville and ends in Laurel.
Wednesday, October 20, 1:00 PM- 4:30 PM
$15 for the public and $10 for CCLC members. Light refreshments provided. Space is limited, register today
