DISRUPTION: BALTIMORE’S “HIGHWAY TO NOWHERE”
Old West Baltimore was one of several of America’s most vibrant Black communities that was irreparably disrupted and damaged by 20th century federal highway projects. This short film begins to explore the history and legacy of Baltimore’s infamous “Highway to Nowhere” and the damage it’s construction wrought upon a once great American community.
