Potomac Conservancy seeks an energetic communications strategist to join our growing team. The Director of Communications will report to the Vice President of Communications and work in a collaborative environment that is driven to meet online engagement and movement building goals.
As a key member of “Team Potomac,” the Director will lead our content marketing strategy and build a growing online base of clean water supporters. The Director will join at a critical moment for the organization as we launch an exciting, large-scale growth plan that will greatly expand our impact in the Potomac River region.
Founded in 1993, Potomac Conservancy is an environmental nonprofit with over 31,000 supporters in the greater Washington, DC metro area. Our clean water initiatives are empowered by a grassroots movement that helps us conserve riverside forests, pass strong water protection laws, and build strong communities. Compensation: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a salary range of $55,000-$60,000.
