The Howard County Conservancy is pleased to offer a series of webinars for Howard County Public School System preK-12th grade teachers on Climate Change. Select from one of three unique sessions or attend all. Sessions are designed to develop teacher confidence and leadership in learning and teaching about the science behind climate change and how to inspire students through stewardship and action projects. Prizes will be raffled off during each session including $50 Amazon gift cards. Please submit a separate registration for each session you plan to attend.
Leadership in climate change education: 2/22 & 2/23 (3:30-4:15 & 4:30-5:15)
Modeling Stewardship in the Classroom: 3/22 & 3/23 (3:30-4:15 & 4:30-5:15)
Classroom Action Projects: 4/27(1:00-1:45 & 2:00-2:45)
These sessions are made possible through funding provided by the Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education.
