Join Jug Bay staff and naturalists for the first-ever BioBlitz at Emory Waters Nature Preserve! Volunteers work in expert-led teams to find, identify, and record as many species as possible during the 24-hour period.
Volunteer registration is now open! The BioBlitz schedule is linked here as a Google Sheets document. Please type your name next to an available shift to register for the three-hour time slot–and feel free to register for as many surveys as you’d like! After signing up for a time slot, please complete your registration by emailing rpexar21@aacounty.org to receive further information about the event.
No prior training or experience is necessary to join our BioBlitz. Free. Ages 8 and up; 8 to 14 must be accompanied by an adult; 15 and older must be accompanied by an adult at the start of the time slot to complete a release form. A notification email will be sent the week before to registered participants verifying the information. Registration and current health guidelines are required.
