This adult education course runs for five weeks, on Tuesday evenings from April 18 to May 16, 2023.
CBF created the VoiCeS (Volunteers as Chesapeake Stewards) program in 2004 as a way to reach out to local community members and create a deeper understanding of the Bay and the efforts to restore it. Become a more knowledgeable advocate for the Bay as we explore topics including: urban agriculture, wildlife, wetlands, fisheries, urban and rural solutions to pollution, diversity in environmental fields, local restoration, citizen advocacy, and more!
There will also be at least one field trip after the program. At the completion of the program, you will be inspired to complete a 20-hour service project of your own choosing and timeline, which will earn you the CBF Chesapeake Bay Steward certification. Come join us in downtown Hampton!
