Volunteers Needed: Scenic Rivers Land Trust’s Volunteer Land Steward Program

Scenic Rivers Land Trust, an Annapolis-based nonprofit dedicated to protecting land in Anne Arundel County, is seeking Volunteer Land Stewards to support our annual conservation easement monitoring season. The season runs from September through November and we need YOUR help to do this critical work.

We’re hosting a volunteer training session on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in Annapolis, starting at 6 pm for new volunteers and 6:30 pm  for returning volunteers. New volunteers will learn how to conduct a conservation easement monitoring visit, complete a monitoring report, and will be assigned an easement(s) to monitor. You determine your commitment and the number of easements you’re able to visit.

All volunteers will learn how to use our new LANDSCAPE monitoring report software.
