We grow local ecotype native species (LENS) from native seed gathered in the wild in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. LENS have coevolved with insects in the Bay ecosystem and so bloom at the times best for local populations, maximizing their contribution to the food web.

Fall is the perfect season to plant, giving roots a strong start for spring. Our fabulous volunteers will be available at the sale to help you find the right native plants for your space.
