Come celebrate the “Year of the Garden” with Historic Annapolis! Join landscape architect and Anne Arundel Community College professor Anne Gleeson for an in-person lecture on the open-air terrace of the William Paca House, overlooking the beautiful Paca Garden.

Learn from Anne about planning and designing a beautiful, native garden, including an understanding of soils, plants to choose, invasive species to beware of, and general guidelines on garden creation and maintenance. Native plants gardens attract beneficial insects, birds, and microorganisms that create a healthy ecology, provide wildlife habitat, and help protect your garden from unwanted pests. Join us and learn how to create a welcoming native habitat in your backyard!
