Garden & Goods Retail Store Manager – Lauren’s Garden Service LLC Native Plant Nursery, Cultivate Garden & Goods

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Store Manager to run our houseplant and garden and goods store, part of our eco friendly nursery and landscape/design company. Exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store is a must.

Duties
– Supervise and motivate store staff to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service
– Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and product knowledge
– Manage store inventory, including receiving, pricing, and restocking products
– Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members
– Oversee store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
– Drive online and in person sales through effective marketing strategies and promotions

Skills
– Proven experience in retail sales
– Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage the store
– Ability to analyze sales data, set goals, and make strategic decisions to drive business growth
– Knowledge of store management practices, including inventory control and merchandising
– Experience in conducting interviews and training development for staff members

Schedule is Mon-Thurs, Sat. One other associate for Fri and Sun and to rotate some Saturdays. Small retail operation, 3rd year in business. Looking for an experienced retail sales manager to grow sales.
