Anne Arundel County DPW Bureau of Watershed Protection & Restoration is excited to continue our seasonal “Watershed Walk” series, this time at the recently completed #Crofton Golf Stream Restoration project (Little #Patuxent River watershed)! 🥾
Learn from the experts about how these projects work to improve water quality for Anne Arundel County and enhance riparian habitat for wildlife.
This site is the first of a multi-phase restoration effort estimated to span approximately 4,500 linear feet. Construction of this section was just completed over the summer, so this will be a unique opportunity to see a restoration site in its infancy! In a few months, we anticipate this site maturing into a heavily vegetated wetland complex and the structures will be much harder to see.
