Do you love teaching others about nature? Do you want to be part of the Environmental Education movement? Become a Volunteer Naturalist at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary in Lothian, MD! Training is provided and hours are M-F between 8:30 am – 2:30 pm. You’ll meet other individuals with a passion for nature and education while helping students engage with nature in the best way possible, through hands-on learning. Volunteers lead 2-3 field trips a month (Sept., Oct., Nov., April, May). Benefits include free park entry while volunteering, invitations to special events, unique training opportunities, and more.
