Learn PLT’s new curriculum “Explore Your Environment”. This includes 50 hands-on, multidisciplinary activities to connect children to nature and increase awareness and knowledge about their environment. Activities include detailed step-by-step instructions, academic correlations, time and material requirements, and corresponding student worksheets with green career connections.
The training will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 (Election Day) from 9am to 2pm at the Paul S. Sarbanes Ecosystem Restoration Project on Poplar Island. The day includes a boat ride to and from Poplar Island from where participants will tour around restoration project and experience lessons from the K-8 activity guide that they will take home with them at the end of the day.
