This events targets the Downtown East neighborhood of York City. We will pick trash on King Street, Market Street, Mason Avenue, Reinecke Place and Clarke Ave. from Broad Street to Duke Street. Refer to the map below, the pink area is the trash pick up area and the meet location is marked on the corner of E. King St. & Columbia Ave. with a P.
The event starts at 9AM and ends at 11AM. The following will be provided: trash bags, reusable gloves in various adult sizes, trash grabbers. All minors are welcome to help but must be accompanied by an adult. The meeting location and parking is 371 E. King St. (parking lot for the YWCA & Asbury United Methodist). Dress for the weather this is a rain or shine event but not lightening!
