Powder Mill Run recently underwent stream restoration and tree mitigation planting.  Once the location of some historic stone outbuildings, recreational baseball fields and a small lake, the site has become City owned forested property filled with wildlife.  Unfortunately, there is a substantial amount of litter that arrives to the site via road littering, transport from upstream areas and numerous storm drains.  All are welcome to join in this effort which can involve going through muddy and wet areas. There is plenty of area in need of cleanup that’s accessible without waterproof shoes but as always when working outside, long pants and long sleeves are recommended. Ample free street parking is located along Parview Avenue, please do not park in the apartment complexes as these areas are private property. Thanks hope to see you there!
