Join us for day one of a two day fossil collecting adventure! Saturday’s collecting site will be in Keyser, West Virginia (approximately 40 minutes away from our meeting point at Staples in La Vale, MD). At this location we have the possibility of collecting coral-stromatoporoid, favosites, and cyathophyllum. Then group leaders will survey participants about remaining at this location or to continue hunting at additional sites. We have the possibility of collecting the following depending upon location: Brachiopods, Crinoids, Tentaculites, Trilobites, and several species of corals.
