Do you love frogs, salamanders, and healthy water habitats? We are seeking volunteers for our 2021 vernal pool monitoring season! Join our volunteer team to survey our 10+ vernal pools throughout the 2021 season, beginning Feb 1 and ending May 30. In this virtual workshop, volunteers will receive an introduction to vernal pools, water quality monitoring, and our methods for sampling for animal life. Field training will occur in small groups on Saturdays in February. Volunteers are expected to commit to visiting our pools once per month for 4-6 hours throughout the survey season which includes off-trail hiking. Registration for the workshop is required.
