The Baltimore Environmental Film Series at Loyola University Maryland is hosting the final screening of the academic year on April 7 at 6 PM at the Loyola Notre Dame Library. The event, cosponsored by the Environmental Studies program, the Center for Humanities and the LGBTQ+ Experience will feature the film “Can’t Stop Change: Queer Climate Stores from the Florida Frontlines.” The filmmakers have weaven interviews with 15 LGBTQ2S+ artists, organizers, and educators across Florida (and the new Florida diaspora) into an intersectional climate justice narrative.  They share an emergent hope in which moments of disaster create opportunities for immense transformation, where what once seemed impossible becomes possible. How can we work with the changes to come to shape the futures we want?

The screening is free and open to the public. Please visit our website for more information and to register for the event.
