Explore to Learn. Learn to Lead. Open to rising 9th-12th graders, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Student Leadership Summer Expeditions are 5-day, 4-night trips that begin/end in Harrisburg PA, Annapolis MD, and Richmond VA. Expeditions primarily take place outdoors where participants explore different parts of the Chesapeake Bay watershed and engage with regional field experts, scientists, and peers. Through hands-on, real-world experiences participants are able to develop knowledge and leadership skills to help support their journey through high school and beyond. Participants will also earn at least 10 service learning/volunteer hours upon completion of the trip. The cost of attendance is $500 and financial assistance is available; all transportation, lodging, and meals for the week are included. Click here for more information and to register today!
