The Adams County Branch of Riparian Rangers, a project of the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, is dedicated to ensuring the long-term success of riparian forest buffers through essential maintenance and monitoring. Since its inception in 2019, Riparian Rangers has provided critical support to tree plantings that might otherwise struggle due to the time, expertise, or labor required for proper upkeep. By tending to newly established buffers on a monthly basis throughout the growing season, our volunteers enhance tree survival rates and strengthen restoration efforts, ultimately contributing to healthier waterways and a more resilient environment.
