The Chesapeake Mermaid will be making an appearance at The Havre de Grace Maritime Museum! She will be telling the tale of “The Giants of the Bay,” which explores some of the biggest challenges facing our environment and what you can do to help our world.
Your adventure on Saturday, August 5th from 1:00 – 2:00 pm includes a story, movement, song, bay creature sign language, and learning what you can do for the wildlife and habitats in your own backyard. Then stay from 2:00 – 3:00 pm for one-on-one meet and greets, meet our wildlife friends, and take advantage of photo opportunities. All ages are welcome. Kids will be seated on the floor and mermaid blankets and shark tales are welcome. Admission is $5 per child (adults are FREE during the event).
