Gather around a campfire at one of your favorite parks this fall for a series of engaging and informative chats. Each week Park Rangers and local experts will lead discussions on a different theme, exploring topics about conservation, history, culture, music, and more. Bring a portable camp chair and share s’mores and stories by the fire, or sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening.

This week: Known for his captivating storytelling and maritime-inspired songs, Jefferson Holland will transport you to a world of adventure, history, and heartwarming tales. Gather around a crackling fire on the bank of the Severn River with a breathtaking view of the sunset. Whether you’re a seasoned fan or a first-time listener, this cozy evening promises to be filled with laughter, music, and s’mores.

Jefferson Holland is a modern-day Chesapeake Troubadour: singer, songwriter, poet, story-teller, performing all original material inspired by decades of life on the Bay. He is a former Director of the Annapolis Maritime Museum, a Riverkeeper, the Poet Laureate of Eastport, and was a founding member of folk groups “Crab Alley” and “Them Eastport Oyster Boys”.

A $5.00 registration fee covers program costs. S’mores supplies will be provided. For more information please contact Park Ranger Nick Shearman at rpshea23@aacounty.org.
