On this special tour of the University of Maryland Extension (UME) Demonstration Garden at Cylburn Arboretum, guests will see learn about the UME research as well as gardening practices that can be used in their gardens or green spaces. Featured topics will include:
- Container gardening
- Gardening in different types of raised beds
- Drip irrigation systems
- Compost bin management
The tour will be followed by open discussion and social time at the Arboretum – one of Baltimore’s beautiful parks.
